During the initial interview process, I was asked where (I) most needed help
with my business. I felt that I needed to be in control of my business and
not my business controlling me.
To that end [IPA Consultant] has reorganized my chart of accounts and put
in place simple and effective reports so that I can gain control of my business.
For the first time since I started my business I can truly say that I now know
what my actual costs of labor and material are for any particular job. I now have
a simple estimating form that gives me the break even point and the desired profit
margin.
[IPA Consultant] has also prepared a simple but effective marketing plan to
help drive forward my sales. I have hired a part time book keeper and with Don’s
help she is able to provide me the weekly and monthly reports needed for me to
guide and control my business.
To say the least this has been an eye opening experience. I now have the tools
and knowledge to move my business forward to the next level.
